they drift across the horizon
silent ,grey and black
truth eludes perception
the sun hides in shame
abandon this disguise
that mask suffocating your actuality
the rest ... illusion... delusion
the fading sky of reason
the stars that once lit
animated and falling apart
like the thoughts and hopes that once filled
